On the West Pier at Scarborough

It's 6 45 am and the overnight catch is being auctioned.
Fish is often landed while most folks are still asleep.
The priority then is getting the fresh product to market.
Refrigerated transport waits alongside on the Pier
and the fish or shellfish is more than likely on
someone's plate the same day!
