May the Best Family Win

This shot makes me think of the University Boat Race. Both of these families got spooked when I was trying to slowly creep up on them for a photo, they all took to the water and headed for the very small island a bit further out, trouble is there's only room on the island for one family so the race was on. Both families belted along ( I had no idea chicks could swim that fast) and the leaders in the photo won the race, there was even a bit of a 'set to' between the two sets of parents when the second family tried to invade the island. However, the first family decided they didn't like it on the island after all and came straight back to the bank, so I left them all in peace having got my blip :-)
