Everyone's business...

On a high, albeit a very tired one.

Gave my first ever talk at a conference, and a bit of an unusual one at that - a mental health talk at a JavaScript conference!

Thought it'd be a tough gig and was unsure if the delegates would see the relevance to them, but the feedback was exceptional!

We need much more of this kind of thing at events which are seemingly nothing to do with mental health - after all everyone has mental health ans it's everyone's business...

Now the main question is how to get to speak at more conferences...although one thing I've seen in business so far is that mist of the best opportunities happen by chance...

...and that if you're very good at what you do, you've just gotta continue being very good at what you do, and the reputation you build will bring opportunities in itself...
