Suzanna...
...'s A Funniful Man.
The lyrics of a song called 'The Old Sow'*,
which (please!) don't let me be the only one to remember!
My Mother used to sing this (presumably old Music Hall Song).
It had whistles and snorts and a phrase that went 'Idle Eee Dan'...
(They don't write 'em like that any more.
Thank goodness).
I think (?) it was an old song that had been sung to her.
(*THE OLD SOW
Albert Richardson - 1928
There was an old farmer he had an old sow.
Snort ow raspberry ow whistle ide-illy-dow
Suzanna's a funniful man
Snort an raspberry an whistle ide-illy-dan
Sing lassie go-rings re-low
Suzanna's a funniful man
Snort an raspberry an whistle ide-illy-dan
Suzanna's a funniful man).
Anyway.
The above pig is That Pig.
(The lyrics, amusingly, don't mention that the snorts and raspberries and whistles actually ARE snorts and raspberries and whistles...Still. Too much info?).
Time is short.
Comments are short :-(
(I'm probably going to have a nervous breakdown if I can't make time to comment soon).
The ladybird is still alive.

And, thank goodness, the red wine forecast is slap me on the thigh blooming lovely.
How very glitterin' :-)
Happy Friday one and all!
