Rapunzel's Tower

The last activity for today's course was extensively energy draining! I was just so amazed with how the people around me still have the energy to come up with ideas even though they know that it was all just for pretend.

Our group chose to propose a workshop for little girls to inspire them to do Engineering as statistics would show that less females are in this field of study. And since our target audience were 5-10 year old girls, we had to make it as fun and as relatable as possible, thus the title, Building Rapunzel's Tower.

The whole class did not think that our idea was the best though but i particularly liked the group who presented Science through the Ages focusing on UK history and how science evolved through the years. The handouts that they provided did not have much information on the details of implementation but the presentation of the group was very interesting. Their presentation reminded me of the London Olympics opening ceremony :) It wasnt as grand as the ceremony, but the concept was quite the same :)
