A lot of restorative affection but some of it being deflected by shock and misunderstanding.
You're miserable it's a good thing says f, misunderstanding that the misery comes from trying to support myself financially and write. How do I say failure to get this funding means more of that. Not ready for chipper tenacity or reinflatable optimism quite yet.
New hair takes some getting used to, whenever I see myself I look sad though. Really sad. And old.
