It's windy on the pier!

It certainly was and not easy to take a photograph! Still, there were plenty of people out and about on Worthing Pier at midday today! The wind was unusually strong for May and the sea was pretty rough. Worthing Pier has undergone a certain amount of restoration in the last few months and the pavillion at the end that has been closed for some time has been repaired and redecorated and is a fine example of Art Deco architecture. It was designed to echo an ocean liner. A visit to the pier is a must at any time of the year, even if it's windy!
