Poetry Café

Bob's class hosted a poetry café today and it was awesome! They served breakfast, coffee, and had a string quartet that performed between poems. They even built a stage! The teacher only served as a guide, while the students took their ideas and ran with them. Each student read a poem, some wrote their own, including Bob. Their teacher read his poem at the end. As he spoke about his students' progress over the year, tears came to his eyes. He is rightfully quite proud of his students :-) Fortunately, Bob gets to stay with this teacher for 1 more year, as this school has 2 grade levels in each classroom.
