Early Mother's Day Celebration

My boys gave me the best gift ever today by getting me out of the house and out to enjoy one of our normal activities (minus the active part). They took me to Woodinville to chill for the afternoon at our favorite winery, Januik. For the last few years, this has been our 'Pre-Mother's Day' tradition and I'm so glad we didn't have to miss out on it this year. I'm feeling better and stronger each day and today was just what I needed. We scored a spot right by the fireplace for dinner at Purple and finished the night with ice cream at Menchie's. We are such creatures of habit, but it's a habit I love to repeat.
