Rather the boy than me

We arrived at the Lux early afternoon. Tired from our flight but eager to explore we headed straight to the beach for a walk. Within 15 minutes the heavens quite literally opened and we got truly drenched. We ran to the first place we could find, a beach restaurant. Not at all hungry but embracing the all inclusive lifestyle we order calamari and dorado skewers.

Soon after, the sun showed it's face once again and we went to check out the water sport activities. It wasn't long before the boy was trying his hand at water skiing - epic fail (he didn't get much further out of the water than pictured). He admitted defeat and lay on the lounger with an ice cream. One hour later I awoke to the sound of the boy snoring from the lounger next to me. Failing at water skiing is clearly hard work. We retired to our beds waking at seven-ish for our Asian meal at East restaurant. The food was beautiful, the cocktails not so much but we will have fun trying to find one we like.

We are going to like it here.
