Sooty census

The Light-mantled Sooty Albatross chicks are not far off fledging. They usually nest half way down cliffs so there's not too much work we do with them, but there's a route we walk a few times a year to check on their progress. Happily there were a few young, healthy looking ones peering down at us from their ledges.
