Dorset, Steeple parish: Creech Grange
The original house on this site, built in the mid 16th century, was severely damaged by Cromwell's troops in 1643. Restoration work, including the remodelling of this south front in classical style, was completed in 1741.
Creech Grange is at the bottom of Ridgeway Hill, and enjoys a view of its attendant folly Creech Grange Arch on top of the hill.
