When style and comfort collide

Lovely day catching up on life, love, the universe and baby tips with my oldest friend in the world (as in I've known her nearly all my life - I think since we met at a dancing class around the age of 4 - rather than her being really old!!) Unfortunately we haven't lived in the same place for years but still manage to catch up fairly regularly and when we do it's like we've never been apart. Though I do owe her an apology for being late (again) picking her up from the airport.

Pottered around town with my best purchase being these amazingly comfortable yet stylish shoes - my feet seem to be getting wider by the day and most of my shoes no longer fit so these are my new favs. At one stage even my fingers turned into sausages so had to have a little sit down in John Lewis to recover before carrying on with the shopping. Then found the most amazing new coffee shop in town where we both had banoffee brownie - an amazing mix of choc brownie, blondie, toffee sauce and cream. Obviously calorie free!

Home for a chill and a fab BBQ both shopped for and cooked by the fella - sausages, chicken, lamb kebabs, steak, corn on the cob and salad. Yum yum.

And still not packed.
