Mojo Returned
My self enforced absence from Blipfoto in the last few weeks has re-ignited the desire to continue. There been a huge gap in the storyline that is my Blip life, with much going on and a lot of things happening.
The Super Sons finished their season with an all-time 27-year high in league placings - 5th in the SPFL Championship - and for a part-time club operating in a fill-time environment with crowds of just 800 average, that statistic is nothing short of miraculous.
On the home front, we now have a splendid new leak free bathroom and a wonderful kitchen (shown here) together with a new ceiling in the kitchen/diner.
It's been an upheaval of biblical proportions but we are getting it all sorted. At last.
Next challenge at Dumbuck Towers is to get our garden into shape. We had toyed with the idea of "getting a man in", but following a few hefty quotations for doing the work, it's gonna be much cheaper doing it ourselves. I've never been keen on DIY or indeed gardening but I'm gonna give the latter a go over the summer months. The biggest problem we have is weeds, but it's all systems go in kicking it all into shape. Fingers crossed that the weather holds up as I'm determined to start tomorrow, which will be the subject of the new invigorated blips.
