Hawaii Five O...Salford Style!

It was the Salford Dragon Boat Festival at the Quays today, I went down to take some pics. It was great fun watching the teams power up and down the dock...a bit of a disappointment that no-one ended up in the water though. Helen, from school, was there as her husband and daughter were in one of the boats teamed by Fujitsu...I took quite a few shots of them for her. It was great to catch up with her and to have someone to chat to as I snapped away a few hundred shots...once I started I couldn't stop. I only went down to get a photo for blip, but then I took loads of the whole event and ended up waiting until the prize giving.

It was rather windy and showery and by the time I arrived home I was chilled through and so wind blown I resembled the wild woman of the woods. So now I have my second mug of tea and I'm resting my aching legs on the sofa.
