I have talked myself out of words today...Denise was over for the day and we talked our way into town, we talked over breakfast, we talked as we shopped, we talked over drinks and a shared cake (please note it was shared) and we talked our way home again.

We went into Annie's for tea and a bacon barm which set us up nicely for the day. Jenny McAlpine owns it and she came over for a chat with her dad and he was eager to give us a tour of the place. They were lovely and Jenny was happy to pose for a pic with Denise...although I was more surprised to actually get a shot of my camera shy friend.

We then hit the shops...well Denise did. It isn't often she gets to town and she was like a kid in a sweet shop. After a bit of spending we needed a drink so we went into the Cathedral cafe.

We had so much catching up to do that we filled six hours in a flash and then sadly Denise had to leave, but it was great to see her. What a splendid day!
