Ele and Kenny were here for our annual Eurovision get together. Just the 4 of us this year as Agnes & Adrian couldn’t make it. (Just the small matter of attending Adrian’s dad’s wedding. We all agreed it was very inconsiderate of his dad to choose the same day as Eurovison to get married! )

After a grey afternoon the sun came out early evening and we couldn’t resist the lure of the garden. Sitting in the sunshine, G&T in hand watching the nutters adventurous people making parachute jumps from small aeroplanes above us (we live 15mins from a small airfield), what could be better? Sneaking off to the golf net apparently!

One minute we’re all chatting, the next I’m Billy No mates as the three of them sneak away to the other side of the garden. Ele has gone over to the dark side been taking golf lessons. Deary me, whatever next!

Anyhoo, back indoors for dinner and the start of Eurovision and the usual malarkey that it entails. Suffice to say our choices didn’t win but hats off to Austria.

It was a late night!
