The Signature of the Sea

Walking along Scarborough's North Bay promenade about
an hour after sunrise, my eye was caught by the unusually
deep ripples in the sand. It was as if the sea had signed its
own seascape. I began to think that, like a fingerprint,
each one is completely unique. It will never be seen again
quite as I, and you now, see it today.
