Aseroe Rubra

Common Names: Anemone Stinkhorn, Sea Anemone Fungus, Starfish Fungus

I spotted this in one of our gardens on my way into work this morning. They really do stink - which is what attracts the flies. They walk all through the stinky brown stuff and spread the fungus that way.
