Escaro

Today's walk took us all around the mining village of Escaro. It was a walk punctuated with breaks or maybe it could be better described as breaks with some walking in between. We climbed to a high point and were about to have lunch when one of the walkers said we were only a short distance from his house and garden. We ate our prepared lunches in his very pleasant garden with nice views over the valley. Our walk back took us through a little hamlet and past another walker's house who had invited us for aperos. That was another hour break as we consumed all the sausage, cake and drinks. I fell asleep when I got home. I am not sure if was the food or the exercise!
