A big one

Today we had April showers all day, even though it's now May. We got on with some little DIY jobs, and went to Mr Bricolage (where they had a bogof on the potting compost I wanted! )
After I had planted out runner beans and tomatoes, I found the two escaping chickens had got out again and were busy digging up my new veg!
This is a photo of a clematis flower which is 10 inches in diameter, a bit bigger than I had expected it to be when I planted it.
