German cemetery

We watched 'Battle of Britain' on Saturday night, and I mentioned to dad that there was a big German cemetery nearby, and being as he was interested, we popped out between showers to visit.
The remains of 8300 soldiers of all ranks, were gathered from all over SW France and rest here, each square marking the place of four soldiers.
It's a lovely location on the side of a hill with nice views, and very well hidden away.
