Highly Unsprung

Somewhere

Throwing caution to the wind and leaving undone homework left undone, we went on a late evening drive to somewhere new, rarely walked by pesky humans. Two ospreys, an owl, deer, birds of all kinds, otter tracks, maybe even a glimpse of a kingfisher. It's that time of year when the late evening Aberdeenshire sun just makes everything glow warm, beautiful and strong, the birds' song rises and rises and you can't but fail to let your guard down and have a wee moment drinking it all in.

Back around 10pm, it was a case of enforced homework session under duress, bed for the sprogs and Dave getting to catch up with Game of Thrones. I must add that I found a bumblebee in my PJs today. Alive I might add, it's now free to tell its tale of accidental tartan cotton incarceration to its mates.
