Resting in the Rain

The rain returned this morning... Nice weather for the ducks, well to be honest even the ducks seemed to be dying for shelter, their heads lowered they appeared scunnered and it felt like they were looking at the mad man with the camera...

The river was so clear, the river rippling with it's own momentum the surface fractured by the rain drops and causing ripples on the ripples... a little bedraggled I returned to the car and headed for the city, reluctantly, slowly hating the very thought of that place. The wet waterproofs in the boot meant the heaters stayed on to keep the windows from misting over but welcome too for the chill in the morning air.
