FULL MOON RISING

Light was quite dramatic this evening
after a wet grey day.
Headed out to Loch Skene
to get some night time reflections.
The other photographers were packing up after the sunset
and watched me disappear off round the loch
looking very bemused.
Their mistake,
as ten minutes later
the moon rose up through the cloud on the horizon.
It put on a display as it drifted in and out
the quickly moving high cloud.
I've opted for a simple mono
as oppose to all the clever reed and tree reflections I took
Sometimes traditional simplicity is the best.
