Crimson Bottlebrush

Today's the day ........................ to say thank you

After yesterday's warm sunshine, it was a bit of a shock to wake up to a damp, drizzly day - especially as the forecast was for a high pressure area to move in. This lovely bottlebrush was soon covered in a million tiny droplets of misty water.

I'd like to be able to say that it was growing in my garden - but actually, it's a present for the President of our choir. Tonight is our last choir practice before we break up for the summer. It's going to take the form of a quick concert of a few of the favourite songs chosen by our conductor - followed by a supper.
