Today's the day ........................ to be decadent

I've always thought that I should have been around in the 20s and 30s. I'm out of my time - I would have loved to have been a flapper.

Well tonight I got the chance to get all dressed up and go to Blackwell - the Arts & Crafts House on Windermere. It was cocktails on the terrace before we went into the Main Hall to be entertained by a jazz band - and learn how to dance the Charleston. It wasn't long before everything was in full swing thanks to Casablanca Steps and
Bees Knees.

It was such fun - and I felt completely at home .......................
