Gozo Citadel

I took this from my bedroom window! The Citadel is the fortified and highest part of Victoria, Gozo. It boasts a Cathedral, the Gozo law courts, the old Bishop's Palace and a few museums.
Today we visited one of my cousins who lives in a village outside Victoria, in a beautifully renovated old farmhouse. Marble floors, high ceilings, large rooms and a swimming pool with banana palms and a spectacular view over the terraced fields - very nice indeed!
