Finishing touches

I popped into Walden after work to look for some buttons to finish off the blanket and found these lovely ones in the craft shop.

The are sitting on the backing I have used and will be sewn on the back to hold the front and back together at each point where the squares meet. Hope that makes sense.

If you look carefully you will see that I couldn't wait and one of the buttons has already been sewn on!
