Lamb Shanks and Pinot Noir
On the foodie trail again. Tonight I cooked lamb shanks with a carrot, onion and celery soffitro accompanied by Pee Wee potato mash and steamed broccoli. All this washed down with a very drinkable Andrian Pinot Noir - I couldn't eat all the lamb shank so I guess we'll be having leftovers tomorrow - what a shame. The lamb was succulent and delicious by the way and it was even more enjoyable to be able to share with L and Daniel. Food, wine and and communion. Just popped into BG to fill up my coffee cup with Lahamenegu Papua New Guinea - great way to spend an evening!
