Snake skin snake skin

Fires raged overnight but thankfully largely avoided the surrounding houses. Today was hot again but the winds had died down and they had been bombing it overnight with helicopters. Still as of 8pm the major fire in San Marcos was only 10% contained. They arrested someone on suspicion of arson. The are very suspicious about the number and widespread nature of the fires not seeming "natural".

A day of shows at work. At my incubator account but on the main account this am as the rep I normally work with is on vacation so was helping out the specialist who wasn't feeling well and flaked on me this afternoon for my show upstairs.

Had to rally the troops to get people through the show as all the vendors were in from out of town. The labs were pretty deserted as most schools were closed due to fires/heat and people still evacuated from their houses.

They had a big conference planned at the site but had to cancel due to no one being able to make it. Still, they had catered for it - so meant a free lunch for me.

In the afternoon it was another show up in my incubator accounts. Not many people there on a good day but even less today. Still - made some leads and interest for the vendors I had invited.

Spotted this snakeskin whilst out walking babe this evening. Let's hope the owner is long gone!
