Malta

Over to Malta on the ferry from Gozo this morning. Last night the wind got up, rattling the shutters and doors. However, the ferry trip was quite smooth, despite the sea looking choppy!
The top picture is St Paul's Island, where St Paul was shipwrecked. The one below is that little succulent flower that survives heat, drought and sea winds!
My cousin took me into Valetta via the coast road, which gives you amazing vistas! We visited her youngest son and his wife and three little children, who live in Valletta. And then it was time to say goodbye and go off to the impressive international airport.
It has been a wonderful visit to these Mediterranean islands!
