My flight from Malta landed at Bristol airport just after 6pm yesterday, and we drove through the most exquisite countryside in the Wells/Cheddar area, south towards Shepton Mallet, and from there to our village, and home!
The colour of the new green growth in May is fantastic, with the hawthorn blossom now at its best.
My husband had dinner all ready, wine uncorked, and Russet was, of course, ecstatic to see me!
