Picnic in Bluebell Wood

Gorgeous sunny day today & after picking up some food & some drugs we decided to go somewhere to see the Bluebells.

We opted for Ashridge Park & it didn't disappoint. Following sandwiches we went for a quick stumble in the woods where I took 100 shots or so - the bluebells are everywhere. Glad we went today as they are starting to go over.

Had a quick look at the monument which was open today but I would never have got down so I didn't try to go up it (177 steps)...almost as high as County Hall !

Home now for our afternoon snooze.
