How many ladders does a man need?
Finally a team arrived to replace our guttering after a false start last week when they brought the wrong design. Three of them started yesterday and are here again today and despite long sessions on their mobiles and long breaks when they just stand and chat, they have made good progress and could well finish this evening. But I'm really not sure why they needed so many ladders!
Now we await painters who will start on the outside paintwork in a few weeks' time. We will look very smart when we are done.
