Overwintered

I spent a long time in the garden today, the most time for ages. The weather has warmed up, there is colour everywhere and my garden mojo returned, conquering latent aches and pains. I bought some plants at the garden centre and started planting up tubs and pots. This large geranium, properly called a zonal pelargonium, is one that I overwintered on a window sill indoors and it has been flowering for many weeks. Now I've put it in a large tub with little lobelia at its feet and I hope it continues to flower all summer. It is such fun, planning all the pots, so much better than trying to conquer the weeds in the garden proper!
