Proud mummy!!!

I am incredibly proud of all my children and their continuing achievements. Today it was Simeon's turn!

Simeon has wanted to be a policeman since he was a little boy. During his teenage years he was diagnosed with a medical condition but continued to work hard to achieve his ambition. The past year he has taken and paid for a policing and law course and got through the long application process to get there today.

Today was a wonderful, if somewhat emotional day. Seeing him march in his full ceremonial uniform bought a tear (or two) to my eye and a lump to my throat. We also looked rather splendent in our finery too!!

A long day but a very proud one, now for a Chinese takeaway!
