Homecoming lunch

Sad to leave Suzy, the sunshine and relaxation of Palma but what a lovely surprise to come home to a gorgeous warm day. Angus was off so we took the opportunity to have lunch in the sun at the tapas on Beech Road. It was delicious and as I sipped my sangria, it felt like I was still in the Balearics!

Had more drinks and coffees at the Laundrette. It seemed as though everyone was there, including my sister Jo working on her laptop which was a lovely surprise.

Then it was the bit I was most excited about - collecting Audrey from nursery. Sadly she seemed overwhelmed to see me and was very distant but she warmed up eventually and said "Mummy's back". We took her for a picnic on a rug on the meadows and she ran around smiling and singing.

The daytime drinking in the sunshine has caught up with Angus and I though and we are struggling to stay awake!!!
