Evening at the Hepworth

There was another evening photography workshop at the local gallery tonight. I had felt dreadful all day, cold has developed into a cough and it was making me feel sick, so I was in two minds whether to go or not.

Decided it might do me good, help me forget about work for a bit. I'm glad I did. It was good to catch up with the lovely GMTFar again, and it was a beautifully warm evening which is in stark contrast to many of the evenings we have spent there shivering and unable to feel our fingers. Took lots of shots of the gallery from outside, but this is my favourite shot of the night. I had been playing with shutter speeds and using my neutral density filters, this gull seemed happy to pose for a while.
