Still Life With Bed Frame

The pink alstromeria are near the wicker chair under the arbor in the backyard. It is such a pleasant place to sit and listen to the crickets and watch the flowers grow. I read out there, and sometimes knit.

Tonight we went out to hear YMusic, a sextet of young performers who deliver an interesting mix of pop played in a classical style. It was a wonderful collection of interwoven sounds, but indescribable. Check them out on YouTube. For me it was exciting to see young musicians playing their passion, seemingly making music on their own terms and making it work. Their delight and enthusiasm was infectious.

And then we went out for dessert! Yum!
