Poppy Pod

We spent a good part of the day weeding and tidying up in the garden. The vegetable bed now has string beans, cucumber, yellow squash and zucchini plants, all nestled under a thick blanket of straw mulch. The intention is to save on watering, but a side benefit would be keeping down the weeds.
