Summer fun!

I love this photo of Heidi zooming down the water slide with eyes squeezed tight shut in anticipation of the water about to splash up. Although her eyes are closed she is still aware of her puppy waiting for her at the bottom and has her hand out so that he can't get bumped by her flying body.

Today has been fabulous! Just glorious sunshine in the morning for my rusty racquets tennis lesson, I was worse than 2 weeks ago though! Gillian popped in for half an hour then I collected Heidi. We had a picnic lunch in the sunny garden and went to ballet. Jenny and I enjoyed our sunny dog walk and catch up, I filled her in on last nights gossip! We collected the ballet girls and went for school pick up. Off to Janes (about half an hour away) where the slide, hosepipe and plastic sheet equalled hours of water slide mayhem! Flynn waited at the bottom of the water slide for each child and then raced them down the sheet, he was exhausted. At 5.30 quick change into tennis stuff for club night at tennis club. India and Heidi loved it, lots of tennis games, sweets and pizza. Helen and I played tennis while the children were occupied, the sun was still shining brightly, what a fab way to spend Friday evening. I played tennis with India and 9 friends which was fun, then played on the grass courts with Carole, her husband and son (I was hopeless!) and at 9pm took 2 very tired girls home. Brilliant brilliant day.
