Long John Silver

AKA my dearest has finally said goodbye to her crutches and Captain Flint is now very much back on his perch. She tried a drive and a shop today and judging by the amount of bags that returned it was not too much of a trauma on her foot. Whilst I dearly wished her a speedy recovery my bank balance was not hit as hard over the past weeks as although there is online shopping there is no one to stop and natter with for hours thus leading to further spending suggestions.

Put shopping, chatting and drinking tea in the Commonwealth Games and my dearest would be bringing home the gold for sure.
