Goop, goop, glorious goop

Its been a messy kind of a day today. The very best kind.

Inspired by a sensory play session at nursery on Monday, I went out to buy one of those builders trays so we could make some goop on an industrial scale in the garden. Amazing stuff. For those who haven't yet experienced it, it is simply cornflour, water and food colouring but it makes a non Newtonian fluid which means you can mold it with pressure, stand on it and it behaves like a solid but pour it and drizzle it like a liquid. The kids (and I) love it!

Between goop, rainbow rice, sunshine and a BBQ we have been very well entertained today :)
