More fun in the sun

Another beautiful day!
We went swimming first thing (well, i'd call it first thing, Dad is still moaning that we weren't ready to leave at 9am ;) ). Amazing how much they have grown in confidence in the water given we've not been for a while. Dylan was happy to wear his goggles the whole time which meant he would jump in and let himself go under the water. Still has to hold hands but that's fine. He's getting there. Lily seemed to enjoy it too. Predictably, she loved jumping in. Not so much lying on her back. They're both funny about having their ears in the water and do that banana bendy thing to try and get back up.

Rest of the day was spent in the garden, BBQing, trampolining, and messy playing some more. Today's sensory treats were cloud dough (flour, oil and glitter) then rainbow rice, then the two mixed together and finally the piece de resistance - goop. While i was more than happy to get stuck in with them and let them sit in it (again), we had to draw the line at pouring it on to the trampoling and "boinging in it".

Thank you, sunshine, for actually showing up on a weekend. More like this please :)
