At last

Slaidburn War Memorial

I have driven past it many times over many years today at last I stopped and took the photo I always wanted.

A striking memorial in a beautiful village that is in Lancashire ( just ) but used to be Yorkshire in time gone by,

Today it was in glorious sunshine and bikers were biking, children playing and the cafe was doing great trade and picnics by the river were being enjoyed.
