A day of walking...

Have had a simple day today, nothing to worry about or stress about!

Took Banjo to the beach this morning, as he needed a really good run in the big open space down there. It was really mild today , quite deceiving , I expected a freezing wind coming off the sea, but it was not like that at all. Banjo spent alot of time sitting in the pools that had formed as the tide had gone out. He had a stick that kept sinking and he spent ages trying to find it underwater, I don't think he had the brains to figure out what had happened to it!

Then this afternoon Ella and I met up with some friends for a walk, that turned into a good 5km hike at the back of Haswell Quarry, on tracks that I hadn't been before ..really enjoyed that, and will do it again next week. Always great to find things so close to home that you didn't know were there!
