.. for this young batsman who, only seconds before, had caught a nasty ball to the, erm, nadgers (thanks for the technical term, Tom) but handled it with great humour, dignity and aplomb. Good for him, great character.

And a win for Jamie's U11 team on a perfect summer's day. Nice to sit in the sun, chat to friends and watch our boys. I don't do it very often; I'm really a fair-weather cricket mum, but it was pretty prefect today.
