Lac d'Oo, French Pyrenees

Today we walked up to Lac d'Oo which is at 1,500 metres . We did start fairly high from the car park..! It was a lovely climb but rather steep!! We were amazed at how low the water level was in the lake.
When we got back to civilisation we got a message to say that our daughter in New Zealand had given birth to a 6lb 10oz baby boy who is called Zac!! We obviously had a celebratory aperatif of a glass of champagne this evening before our dinner!
PS Thanks so much to everyone for their comments the last 2 days but because we had a night away, and I am currently using my son's computer, I can't spend too much time blipping as it is rather antisocial!
