View from the boundary

I had a very enjoyable evening on Friday at Grace Road with my friend and occasional blipper,The Chunkster, watching the Leicester Foxes play the Derbyshire Falcons in the first T20 cricket match of the season. It was a glorious sunny spring/early summer evening. The game was quite compelling with Leicestershire batting first and setting 197, but Derbyshire lagged behind all the way and ultimately ended about 27 runs short, despite some lusty blows from North who scored 90 in the Derbyshire middle order.
